Craven Farm Vets is looking for a cheerful, confident and experienced farm vet to join our proudly independent business.
We are a friendly, health-focused and progressive team of six vets striving to provide the best possible service while enjoying our work. The practice workload is dairy-based with significant beef and sheep work including an advanced sheep breeding enterprise. We have an excellent support team and great premises on Skipton’s auction mart site. Skipton is in the low-risk TB area and we have a vet tech / ATT. The town is in the Craven district of the southern Yorkshire Dales which provides a beautiful backdrop to our work and the Lake District is in easy reach if you like even bigger hills.
We’re looking for a dairy-biased all-rounder but will encourage any particular interests with fully supported CPD. The rota is equally shared, one in six, and not too busy out of hours for most of the year. You will get a generous salary package including a vehicle, pension and private health insurance.
