Are you passionate about first-opinion equine practice? We are looking for a colleague to join our 4-5 vet equine team within a friendly and progressive large animal practice in beautiful rural Herefordshire.
Who are we
Belmont Farm and Equine Vets is a forward-thinking, proudly independent, large animal practice with dedicated farm animal and equine teams. We care for a wide variety of equines, focusing on building trusted relationships to ensure we deliver the best level of ambulatory care possible.
Our strengths come from working as a cohesive and collaborative team, where everyone’s opinion is valued. This is facilitated by fortnightly clinical clubs where we share our varied knowledge base, ensuring that every day remains a school day! We have invested in a great range of up to date equipment and are supported by a dynamic team of office staff (and farm vets!) who make BFE a great place to work.
What’s on offer
The position will be tailored to fit the right individual and whilst experience is advantageous, we take pride in providing a fully supported environment for those younger members of the profession who are keen to explore the rewards of first opinion equine practice. A part time role would be considered for the right candidate.
Salary commensurate with experience (£35-£60k), with generous holiday and CPD allowance, within which, post graduate qualifications are fully supported.
Gym membership and private healthcare, alongside enhanced parental leave packages, balance the modest OOH rota of 1:5 weekends and 1 night per week, which come with the added incentives of a bonus scheme and holiday cover.
